Oats Savoury Cakes

I like to experiment with Oats, and its so versatile so why not! if you are not keen on regular burger buns, you can give this a go. They are much more healthier and lighter.

Let me know whats your thoughts if you give it a go.

Ingredients:

  • 100g oats
  • 4 tbsp fat free yogurt
  • half a onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • salt to taste

Method:

  • Mix Oats and yogurt, leave it for 2-3 hrs
  • add onions, coriander, salt and mix well
  • spray little oil on pan, spread the batter on pan like pancake, cook on low heat with lid on for 5 mins, then turn and cook for another 5 mins without lid

Notes

  • you spice it up with chilli
  • great to have it as a burger, or with salad. great on its on as a snack too.
