So was craving for something spicy and cheesy, came up with these Patties, while relaxing in the garden after a long walk on a sunny day. It doesn’t need too many things to make and its quick and easy. Can be enjoyed as a side or snack, best to have with tamarind or green chilli chutney. Tasty and healthy ofcoures and well deserved after a long walk …that’s my excuse lol.

Ingredients:
- 3-4 medium potatoes, boiled and cooled
- 1 red onion finely chopped
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- handful of coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
- salt to taste, add less salt in potatoes as smoked cheese can be bit salty
- 40g of smoked Cheese
- 2 tbsp plain/gram flour mixed with 1 tbsp of water to make thick paste
- bread crumbs
Method:
- Mix together potatoes, chillies, onion, cumin and coriander
- take a small amount in your hand and make it in to a small bowl, fill in cheese and and close the potato mix, flatten it to make burger shape
- dip it in gram flour mix and coat with bread crumbs
- cook in a pan with little oil for few mins each side until golden brown and crispy
- enjoy with tamarind or mint or chilli sauce.
