Tofu Tikka is easy to make and it’s good meat alternative. As you make know by now I like to keep food and ingredients simple and process simple this is recipe is one the example of that. Just add couple of ingredients in bowl mix and cook. Easy peasy for weekday dinner.

Tofu is made of soya, which makes it vegan. It is high in protein and contains all of the essential amino acids your body needs. It also provides fats, carbs, and a wide variety of vitamins and minerals. So good reason to include in our diets.
I have grown to like tofu now, used it instead of paneer as I can’t eat paneer. This was great substitute it’s light and quick to cook. Doesn’t has its own flavour makes it perfect to used with other ingredients to inject some flavour to it.

Best way to cook is to marinate in your choice of spices, like below and enjoy!
Ingredients: (serve 2)
- 150-200g firm tofu, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp tikka masala
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chilli
- salt to taste
Method:
- Mix everything apart from tofu in a bowl, add tofu mix gently to coat well
- Leave it to marinate for about 30mins
- Roast in oven or I used air fryer at 200’c for 8-10 mins until the edges are crispy
- You can also add vegetables to rest of the marinate if there is my left and roast them too
