THANDAI is traditionally made on holi in India, its nutritious and full of protein. Can be a good post workout out drink or morning smoothie.
It’s delicious and super powerful.


Ingredients:
- 200ml cup warm water
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup pistachios
- 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds (khus khus)
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- Handful dried rose petals
- 1/2 tbsp fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp whole black pepper
- Couple of strands saffron – optional
- 2 tsp sugar or more for more sweetness
- 200ml chilled milk
- ice cubes as required
Method:
- Take all the dry ingredients(other than saffron and sugar), soak in hot water, just cover the nuts cover and leave it for atleast 30mins
- Grind the above to fine paste
- Mix in milk and water, sugar, saffron
- Serve chilled with ice or hot
