Well…it’s actually tuna stuffed lettuce for gluten free and carb free option. Nevertheless it was delicious, easy to make and low carb meal option.

Either use tinned tuna or fresh, I have used fresh because that’s what I had. But if you using tinned then you don’t need to cook it and it saves time, whichever way it’s easier or required.


Ingredients:
- 200g tuna from tin or fresh
- 4 tbsp Kala chana from tin
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tin tomatoes
- Coriander chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Paprika
- Black pepper
- Lettuce leaves, washed and dried
Method:
- In a pan add oil, then onions, fry till golden then add ginger garlic paste, keep stirring until oil is separated
- Add tomatoes fry till oil is separated
- Add salt, paprika, pepper, chilli and fry for 1 min then add tuna chunks
- Cook for 5 min keep stirring occasionally
- When tuna is done to your preferences add coriander, Kala chana and cook for another 2 mins
- Shred tuna either with fork or hands
- Take a lettuce leaf, add the tuna stuffing, serve with salad cream or any sauce of your choice and enjoy!
