Peanut Butter and Jam Baked Oats

I can eat oats any time of the day, in breakfast, lunch or dinner or as a snack. Oats are so versatile, you can make lots of dishes with it. Porridge in the morning is one of my go to breakfast, top it up with berries for unltimate meal.

Baked oats makes you feel like you are eating a cake at breakfast time lol, well why not weekends deserves special breakfast and what can be more special than cake.

Baked Peanut butter and Jam Oats

This is a easy, simple recipe doesn’t take long to assemble that you can even make it on weekdays. Mixing all the ingredients takes less than 5 mins, pop it in the oven, whilst it’s baking you get time to get ready for work or making children ready for school, how’s that sound…good, than check out the recipe below. Baked Peanut Butter and Jam Oats

Ingredients:(single serving)

  • 50g Oats
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp Reduced sugar Jam, I used black currant jam
  • 100ml milk of your choice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essences
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or sugar if your choice

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except jan, pour in to a oven proof dish and bake at 180’c until golden about 20-25 mins
  • When baked take it out of the oven top it up with Jam and may be more peanut butter.
  • Enjoy 😃
