Vegetarian Pasta (oil free recipe)

I am up for all the recipes where you shove everything in a pot and it comes out yummy..lol

This pasta sauce recipe is healthy, no oil recipe. Doesn’t need anything chopping either if using frozen veg like I did but I did had to slice pepper but that can be frozen too. I also put in veg sausages in the sauce, optional but if you want to add it.

Recipe is simple easy and turned really good…delicious and even kids didn’t notice any veg in it so win.. and win

Ingredients:(serves 2)

  • 2 portions of pasta
  • 200 g passata
  • 200g cabbage sliced, I used frozen
  • Half of green pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp soya souce
  • 1 tbsp chicken masala or stock cube
  • 1/2 tsp garlic granuals
  • 1 tsp onion granuals
  • 2 veg sausages if you want to

Method:

  • Boil pasta as per packet instructions
  • In a separate pan, add all the other ingredients, cover and cook for 15-20mins on low heat, stirring occasionally
  • Drain pasta and add it to sauce, over cook for 2 mins turn off the heat and leave it covered for 10 mins
  • And enjoy!
